The Positive Power Workout...Inspired by Kim Somers

This week I interviewed one of Hollywood’s favorite life coach’s Kim Somers, this woman literally personifies the power of positivity. Her energy is contagious and it is something I wanted to share with you! And YES, you can feel this good and exude this energy – just try this workout and see how the next 12 minutes can literally re-charge your energy and put you in a totally different mood!

One of the quickest ways to get those’ feel good’ endorphins going is to really move your body, work it, push it, sweat out all the negative!  Not to mention the long-term effects this type of exercise has on your mind, your spirit and your body – there really is no down side. So as you sit behind your computer screen reading this, make a decision RIGHT NOW, to plan to do this workout – there is no reason you can’t. If you have 15 minutes, that’s all you need. And we ALL Have 15 minutes – it’s about prioritizing this in your life. 

Let’s do this together, let’s make the commitment to get up and do this workout – before you know it, you’ll be done and feeling better than before you began!

So in the spirit of Kim, let’s get positive and let’s get powerful through this super short, super energizing workout. It’s super basic but highly intense, if you do it right it won’t matter if you are an elite athlete or beginner you will be completely spent!

The Workout

Plie Sunshines- 30 seconds

High knees - 30seconds

REST -15 seconds

Burpees – 30 seconds

REST -15

Mountain Climbers- 30 seconds

REST -15 seconds

Tuck Jumps – 30 seconds

REST 30  -60 seconds

*REPEAT this circuit 3 more times for total of 4 Rounds
