Three Tips to Make your Break

I am convinced that 99.9% of the time a break-up is actually a positive life event, YES, you heard me correct. In fact, I would like to say that most often a break-up is actually a life transforming break-thru!
 
I’m not trying to say they are easy to go through. As humans they can be the most traumatic and devastating of events while you’re going through it. You may go through all the worst feelings from self-doubt and humiliation, to financial loss and every other emotion that runs the gamut of sadness. 
 
But, as my grandmother always said ‘time heals all wounds’ and I have yet to meet anyway, who after time has not come out stronger and happier in the long run from a break-up, whether it was a 25 year marriage or a whirlwind romance. Once you start to live and love again, you will see that you can learn a lot from a break up, all of which will benefit you in future relationships to come.

The Morning After

Waking up after a break-up is probably one of the worst feelings, but it’s a real human experience, and unless you have lived so sheltered you might not have lived at all, you will experience this type of ‘morning after’ effect. So if you’re reading this, whether it’s the morning directly after, or a month after, and you’re feeling less than motivated, I created this workout just for you.


As crappy as you feel, the best thing you can do is get your workout on. Not only will you be on your way to getting into a svelte new physique, when you are working your body hard you are able to direct all your energy to the task at hand and forget about how crappy you feel. You will engage ‘feel good’ endorphins and start your day on a much better note. I know that the last thing you feel like doing when you're heartbroken is to exercise. However, studies (and personal experimentation) prove that as little as 20 minutes of rigorous exercise can lift the deepness of that horrible feeling and completely change your day, your body, and your mood.

New Birthday

You may have a broken heart, but YOU as a person are not broken. I make this point because I know it can feel like the end of the world when your heart is broken, but the truth is, the world keeps going, and you are still alive and still breathing, and you still have what it takes to be a strong, happy individual. I know this is not what we want to hear, but it is something we have to hear, once we have wallowed in our own grief and felt sorry for ourselves and cried and shouted, or whatever it is you do, it is time to pick yourself back up.

The Next Youtube Fitness Personality

I am humbled and honored to announce my good news; I’ve been named one of the ‘The Next Youtube Fitness Personalities’! When I found out, I thought I was going to explode having to keep it secret from everyone for almost 2 weeks! Keep your Waistline in Check over Thanksgiving

AHH thanksgiving, such a wonderful time of year. It always makes me so excited, as it is the kickstart of the holiday season, social calendars are filled with parties, events and gatherings, but along with more fun is more food and more drinks leading to an ever-expanding waistline. Do you know that the average Thanksgiving dinner has over 2500 calories? This can be a real challenge if you are watching your weight. I have put together some key tips to help you navigate your way successfully through Thanksgiving without depriving yourself (life really is too short for deprivation) but still looking and feeling good when it’s all over!

Healthy Holiday Eating Tips for Thanksgiving

If you’re a guest a Thanksgiving Dinner:
Don't go to the Thanksgiving dinner hungry: we often eat faster and more when we are hungry. I know many people who ill fast all day just to gorge at dinner, this is the worst thing you can do.
